Inspiration : Being an Interior Designer was my passion since childhood, the profession that I realised much later whenever I used to see the labours and contractors working from morning to evening. Possibly my family´s support has made me choose this line of business since I don´t come from this background yet they had the faith in my career choice and passion. Scenario : There were many Interior Designers around the city, in family, among the friends. I always dreamt of providing luxurious designs to people which defines their standard of life. Challenges : The lack of professionalism between the Client and Designer, Vendors and Designers, Labours and Designers, lack of transparency, speculation of interests, exploitation of Designers. Achievement : Honestly, starting a Venture at 21, all by yourself, a completely new business line (the guidance of which is not possibly always available since your business background is totally different) and then bagging a Residential Project in an International Country like Nepal for an elite group is one of my Best Achievements till date. Future Plans : I feel there´s a lack of awareness about Interior Design in the society. I strongly wish every individual should have their Dream Houses designed in a manner that suits their interests and not the Designers and Labours. There are professionals who misuse the liberty that the client provides and hopefully the profession gets the respect that it deserves. There should be proper norms and contractual obligations for any kind of Interior Design projects.
