Pulwama terror attack affect, the kashmir tourism

KOLKATA : After the suicide attack in Pulwama Several travel agents in the city have decided to avoid Kashmir as a holiday destination, even after the situation returned to normal in a few months. travel companies Move Around felt it did not make sense to send tourists to a place that witnesses violence.  

Travel Agents Federation of India chairman (east) Anil Punjabi said the attack on the CRPF jawans and the resultant sentiments were unfortunate given the beauty of Kashmir and its potential as a tourist destination.

“At a time when things were beginning to look up for our Switzerland, it all came crashing down. There will be no business this summer, not just from Bengal, but from anywhere,” Punjabi said.
