KOLKATA : Several teachers organisation turned to the west Bengal Board of Secondary Education for a redress and demand the resignation of Board President Kalyanmoy Gnaguly after the history question paper of Madhyamik examinations leaked and allegedly circulated on whats App with in 20 minutes of the start of the test.  

After education minister Partha Chatterjee on Wednesday barred Ganguly from interacting with reporters, several calls to the board president went unanswered.

There were also reports of a clash between police and guardians at Manikchak in Malda, where at least four police personnel, including two women, were wounded. The fight broke out in front of Kalindri High School, when the cops tried to stop some parents trying to pass on chits, with answers written on them, to the examinees. Manikchak police station OC Kunal Das said four persons were detained.
