Gandhigiri gesture to GM for power wows

Dhanbad : Disappointed by staging protest, agitation and raising slogans against the electricity department, leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) of the coal city took to gandhigiri and gifted rose to the General Manager (GM), S C Mishra.

Senior leader of JMM, Debu Mahato humbly requested the GM to regularize electricity supply in the district.

“Every time we stage our protest for regular electricity supply we are given assurance and said that soon the supply would be normal.

We are unable to understand, the problem of this department? We have requested the GM for speedy action on the issue and as usual we got the same assurance” said Debu Mahato.

GM Mishra while talking to media said “I had a meeting with all the officers of our department.

Most of the electrical installations of the district are in a very bad condition and requires replacement. We are working on it and expect to finish the work by the end of this year”
