Real Time Online Air Monitoring Station in coal city

Dhanbad : Coal city being one of the most polluted city of India gets an Online Air Monitoring System on Thursday.

The centre was inaugurated by chairman of Jharkhand Pollution Board, Ajay Kumar Mishra.

The machine would generate data of 15 types including dust particles, sulphur di oxide, carbon mono oxide etc. and will be available in the website of Central Pollution Control Board and Ministry of forest and environment.

Engineer Shiv Narayan Khatua said that the machine has been imported from France with a cost of 80 lakh rupees. It will remain operational in case of power cut for 10 hrs.
