Tiny tots celebrate Raksha Bandhan at Narayani Kids

Dhanbad : Ahead of the Raksha Bandhan fest, the tiny tots of Narayani Kids Play School celebrated the Raksha Bandhan fest at school premises. Children learnt the values of relationships through various historical stories based on Rakhi.

Dressed in colourful attire and brimming with joy, the children celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm and fervor. The girl children were busy in decorating their Thalis to tie holy thread while boy children were also eagerly waiting for the moments. “However, these children are unaware of the values of the holy fest of brothers and sisters but their fervors are enough to narrate that they feels the values of relationship behind holy knot,” said Suman Jalan, organizer and Director of the school.

Adding further, Jalan said, such celebrations in schools ahead of the festival teach children the need and relevance of that fest in our lives. “Little girls danced and sang to show their love for their brothers. They also tied Rakhi and fed sweets to them,” said Jalan adding that girl’s expressions show that they pray for long life and prosperity for whom they tied the holy thread.

According to Jalan, the school management use to organize such festive celebration ahead of the day of festival so that children could get aware the values and philosophy behind that festival “Various festival like Holi, Eid, Baisakhi, Rakshabandhan, Christmas and Diwali  are  celebrated at School premises, displaying unity in diversity. Such celebrations are aimed at giving message of peace and brotherhood,” said Jalan.
