Bully nature of Junior Doctors of PMCH

Dhanbad : Patliputra Medical College Hospital (PMCH), has been notorious for the bullying nature of doctors towards poor patients for a long time, has stepped ahead and now other helping staff have become the new victims of doctors. A junior resident doctor Ravindra Kumar Paswan of ENT department on Monday morning slapped his peon

Kaleshwar Hajjam without any valid reason following which a ruckus was created by the members of Public Health Employees Association.

As the patients were in huge numbers and the peon could not manage to send all the patients by the stipulated time following which Dr. Paswan got annoyed and entered into altercation with Kaleshwar which ended up with a slap on his (Kaleshwar) face.

After the incident members of employees association stalled work for about 2 hours and demanded strict action against Dr Paswan.

The work started after Superintendent of PMCH, Dr K Biswas intervened in the matter and assured the staff for action and asked the union to submit their complaint in writing.

General Secretary of the union, Ramadhar Sharma, while talking to City Live said “we have been witnessing the ill attitude of junior doctors towards the poor patients.

These junior doctors are in habit of getting into scuffle with patients and now they have started the same with us.
