Coal Belt geared up for Parinam Kumbh

Dhanbad 23 February : The Van Bandhu Parishad, one of the frontal organizations of Rashtriya Swayemsewak Sangh (RSS) has started strengthening and promoting the ongoing ‘Ekal Vidyalaya’ a single teacher schools, runs in tribal belt for educating tribal children.

“ Our motto is to impede upon  silent conversion of Hindu-tribes  into Christianity, said Kedar Nath Mittal, President, Parinam Kumbh organizing committee being organized by the Van Bandhu Parishad , a three daylong mass-meet of tribal’s in Dhanbad, said in a press meet on Saturday.

Education is the only medium to stop conversion and Ekal Vidyalayas across the country has played a significant role in stopping the conversion. “Luring by missionaries can only be stopped by education as an individual cannot leave Sanatan Dharma if he is well educated and aware of  its  dimensions,’ said Mittal.

According to Mittal over 40 thousands delegates across the country and abroad are expected to take part  in the three daylong ‘Parinam Kumbh’ scheduled from March 1. “Over hundred delegates from abroad including USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Nepal will have to participate in the three daylong meet,” said Mittal, adding that RSS Chief Mohan Rao Bhagwat, Sadhvi Ritambhara, VHP leader Ashok Singhal, Subhash Chandra of Zee Media along with other leaders and renowned personalities of corporate world have consented to grace the occasion.

Senior journalist and media spokesperson, Indrajeet Prasad Singh while addressing the press meet said the concept of Ekal Vidyalaya was given by late Madan Lal Agrawal, who had started single teacher school in tribal areas to enlighten education among tribal children.

“Presently we are running 53614 Ekal Vidyalayas across the country and soon we will achieve our target to run at least one lakh schools across the country,” said Singh.
