Clash at DPS, boy injured

Dhanbad: Exchange of hot words between two students of Delhi Public School (DPS) turned into bloody clash on Monday morning, when the students of class X and XII started confronting in school premises. The clash started when class twelve students allegedly passed filthy comments on class ten students during leisure period.

According to the victim Vigyan Pathak a class 10 students who is undergoing treatment at a private nursing home in Dhanbad, a class 12 student allegedly thrashed him leveling charges taunting. “One Shubham Chaudhry, a class 12 students jostled him with no reason and started scuffling.

In the meantime, another student of the same class Pratik Khare while favoring Shubham turned violent and attacked on me by metallic armlet he had put on wrest,” said Vigyan, who received three stitches on  head.

However, another warring group was not available for comment, but principal of the school KB Bhargava when asked said, the parents of duo students has been called tomorrow to settle the issue. “It was leisure period, when the scuffle took place. This is because, teachers were not present at that time,” said Bhargava.

Separating the school management from the clash, Bhargava said, the incident occurred at play ground. “It is not possible to keep eyes on students all the time especially during the leisure hour, when they use to play outdoor games in the school-ground,” said principal adding that, he has called both parents tomorrow to settle the issue.
