Dhanbad : A one day Police training program was organized in Kalyan Bhawan, Saraidhela on Commodities Act by Forward Market Commission,.

Director of the commission, Atul Verma trained the cops on cases related to manipulation in commodities market. Police officer of 5 districts, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Giridih and Jamtara, participated in the program.

“Though the cases are less in Jharkhand, possibilities cannot be ruled out in this growing market of commodities” said Verma a senior IPS officer.

“The training would quip the cops with ways and means to tackle economic offences in cases like hoarding of essential items” said Deputy Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar.
